That last part in particular is not hard to believe.
"Okay, uh... for now, Henry, maybe stop putting your hands on him? There's probably some way we can get you two separated, but this isn't really helping." He knows of a few plants that can be used to dissolve sap and the like, but he's got no idea if they're available here.
"In fact, maybe you two should just hold still as much as possible until this is sorted out, alright?" To make sure that they don't injure themselves somehow.
