Ginko tries to reach for Ed, to pull him away from the arms, out of the circle, just to get him out of there - but somehow, he knows it's not going to happen. He was too late. Things have gone too far, and there's not much he can do now.

The arms grab onto him, and he gives a startled grunt as they start pulling him down right next to Ed.
