OPEN RP POST (wip)
This is a general catch-all post for anyone who wants to thread with Ginko in his original setting - or at least something resembling it. Want to play an AU? Post-jamjar? Unexpected interdimensional travel? It's all good! In addition, if you want to thread something with mushi and such but in a more modern setting, I'm totally open to modern-day AU's. I'm fine with prose, brackets, whatever.
Please note that I'm totally open to using this post for action, fluff, whatever, but not smut. If you have any additional questions about the setting or types of mushi, just message me on this account!
(here's a placeholder for if i ever get around to putting actual prompts on here)

They nod, looking up at the sky. "Mmm...it's only been snowy once. And I didn't know if some of the people coming through were nice, so I didn't talk to them."

Then he pauses where he is. "...I thought you said you had always lived here?"

Less than a year. As long as they can remember.
Looking at them, he would guess they're about ten, give or take a couple years.
He starts walking again.

"Do mushis have villages, too?"

...
"What if I made them little houses?"
no subject
"I suppose you could do that, but I'm not sure how much use they would get from them. Mushi usually do just fine finding their own places to live."
no subject
Well, nice that that has been decided...?
The riverbank starts to grow narrow and steep the farther they go, but still wide enough to make their way along in single file. The water laps on the rocks, but Frisk is nimble enough to not lose their footing. "A little farther, then there's another secret path, okay?"
no subject
He sticks close behind them, eyeing the river cautiously. "Alright."
His foot slips a little on a particularly damp rock, but he manages to regain his footing a moment later. "--ah, dammit."
no subject
Frisk turns back when Ginko slips, and frowns before going back to take his hand in a firm grip. "Don't fall, okay? I'll help, just hang on."
no subject
He doesn't pull away, but he doesn't grip back, either. He takes a couple more cautious steps forward.
no subject
"I won't let you fall!"
no subject
He stays as close behind them as he can, making it a good few steps further. He's getting a little more used to keeping his footing as they go, and it's seeming a little more like they might be able to get past this river without incident.
And then, whether the rock under his shoe falls out of place, or is just too damp to get a grip on, his footing is suddenly gone.
no subject
All that Frisk really serves to do is provide a tiny bit of cushioning for his chest when they go down.

"Ginko! Ginko!" Frisk struggles and squirms to get out from underneath him, finally getting free and shaking his shoulder to try and wake him. "Ginko, wake up! You gotta wake up!"
Panic rises in their chest when they notice the blood, and they let out a small whimper. No, no no no, he can't be, he can't--!
Maybe if they didn't close their eyes so fast, they would notice he was still breathing.

"No more falling."
no subject
"What? I didn't fall, what are you talking about?"
no subject
"'M gonna keep you safe this time. I really will, promise."
no subject
"...Frisk, what do you mean, 'this time'? What's going on?"
no subject
"We...we got down to the river. I was gonna take you from there to the meadow, but...it got slippery. You fell."
They look up at Ginko with a guilty expression. "I tried to catch you, I swear I did."
no subject
Somehow, he doubts it. He pulls his sleeve over his hand to wipe at Frisk's face.
